winword error

trying to save a word document off a network drive with a
different name to my local drive and when I do I get this
error. I can save the document back to the network drive
without a problem with the same name. the documents were
created in all different versions of word. The problem
seems to isolated to 1 computer because I was able to save
it on another computer. Both computers have word 2000.
Even if I copy the document to my drive and try to save it
on the drive with a new name I get this error.

I did a search in the knowledge base but the only thing I
could find related to this error was having a my documents
folder located in a my documents folder. that isn't an
issue in this case. I reinstalled office to no avail.

any help would be appreciated.

Winword caused an invalid page fault in module kernel32.dll

sorry, forgot to put it in the subject

A little unusual. Try opening a blank document and use Insert, File to load
the networked file and see if you can load that locally. Are you using
Norton Anti Virus?
