Winword.exe errors all over our company - different
variants on the error message eg.

Winword.exe FInitStaticRuls(Shown below) or LAssistCallFn

Please help as appears to be spreading and microsoft
website says you can check in its knowledge base but
nothing found???!!!

What can we do now?

Word is sensitive to corruption (wrong binary information) in
documents and in the templates underlying the documents. A damaged
template can cause errors such as this. (By the way, most of the
information in a DrWatson report isn't useful to folks in the
newsgroups -- it's understandable only by Microsoft engineers who have
access to the source code of Word.)

Follow the troubleshooting tips at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm and
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/CorruptDoc.htm. An additional hint
may be the fact that the same errors appear on different machines --
if you can find out which template each was using at the time, that
may help pinpoint which one is bad.
