Winword.exe error on Word 97 on Win2000

I have word 97 at work, and alot of users are starting to
get winword.exe error. What could be causing this, other
than corrupted documents, as this seems to be happening to
more or less everyone?

W97 was reasonably stable under Windows 2000. Make sure that you have all
patches and servicepacks installed for both Word and Windows. One possible
cause if this is a network-wide problem is the printer driver. If this still
persists, would you let us have the error dialog message please: it may help
point more closely to the problem.

When are they encountering the error? Upon starting Word? Printing?
Saving?

What patches do you have installed? Take a look under Help/About for
this information.
