I had a system board crash in my last laptop. I had the
My Documents recovered on CD. I have a new machine
running XP Home and Office XP SP3. When I attempt to
launch Word, or open a Word file, I am able to open the
file, but then I receive an error message and asked if I
want to recover and restart Word along with sending an
error message. I respond yes. I have an UPGRADE version
of Office Professional XP that was loaded on Office
Professional 97.
Any ideas other than punt?
