Winword.exe when creating table of contents

I receive a Winword.exe errror message when creating a table of contents. The system automatically closes Microsoft Word.

What version of Word are you using? What patches are installed? You
can find this information under Help/About Microsoft Word.

Additionally does your document contain Comments?
