How can I get fixed when the error message "Winword has
caused an error in VBE6.dll. Word will now close."'?

I have Word 2000 and it has really griped me.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

CAUSE
This behavior may occur with any of the following conditions:
The WinFax template is installed on your computer.
Norton AntiVirus version 2000 or version 2001 is installed on your computer.
A template in your Office or Word start up folder causes the error.
The Vbe6.dll is corrupted or damaged.

I Would request you also install the latest service pack for Office 2000.

I also get this error. I don't have WInFax. I don't run Norton (I run McAfee). I've replaced the vbe6.dll from the Install disk and redone the Normal templates.

No go. Still getting that error. Drives me crazy. I solved it once but can't find now how I did.

I do know that this happens every time I update Adobe Acorbat Professional. Augh! (Yes, I have since turned those updates off.)

Help please!
