After the last auto upgrade to my WinXP Pro I can no longer get into my website by using my Front Page 2002. I get the error message " The folder domain/ no longer is available. Problem with web server, try again later or contact the system administrator. The system admin is pulling his hair out on this one, and suggested I just remove the last update, but hey, thats not good..

Can anyone tell me how to keep the software running without having to pay MS to fix what appears to be there own goof

Direct Email is easy if you want.... just remove the words "no.dang.spam" from the email addy shown, ok

I sure hope you can help..... this is about day 10 on this mess!

Remove the web folder, then try via FP or open in IE, then select Edit with FP.

Try downloading and installing the free FP Addin Jimco Open Web from
www.jimcoaddins.com
It bypasses the web folders and may fix your problem

OK, I tried deleting my web folder on my machine, and it gives me the
same message again when I try to go online and open the site. Folder no
longer available, etc...
I have several Front Page sites, they all respond the same, will not
allow me to enter. Password yes, then the error message.

Nope. First it failed full install. Msg "could not register type library for file c:\program files\ open web\openweb.dl
I tried retry a few times, shut off everything I could find, still same. Finally said to ignore, opened front page, it showed, but when I tried to open the site ... same message (folder no longer available.. problem with web server, try again or contact server administrator). argh...
