With the barkers and the colored balloons

Hello

Colored balloons for comments are an attractive feature of Mac Word 2008.
Problem is, every document and every time I insert a comment, type is too
small in comment text, and I have to go to format->styles and set the type
bigger for "Balloon Text" and I have to do it for every single comment on
every text.

I never could set this bigger (I use 10 points) for the first balloon and
get it in the same size for every new balloon in the same file.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

When I tried it just now, the font was applied to all balloons in the
document. Here's what I did.

With the document open I used Format > Style
Under Styles I selected Balloon Text
I clicked the Modify button
In the Formatting section of the Modify dialog box I clicked on the name
of the current font and changed it to Optima (because I thought it
looked easy to read)
Then I adjusted the size to 12
Then I clicked OK a couple times to close the dialog boxes.

The result was a new balloon at the beginning of the document that
showed my tracked change as Style Definition:Balloon Text:Font:Optima,
12 pt.

Hello

Many thanks, even if things are not so easy sometimes.

I have executed your recipe once again. I have done it thousands of times.
Word changes all made balloons to the chosen font and side, with style
Balloon Text, great. Next comment, text inside balloon in not Balloon Text
but Comment text in times new roman 12 (usually it is size 8); so now I
change this Comment Text format too, and now I have comment text in
different styles. Sometimes word don't let me put text bigger except if I
change style inside balloon from comment text to balloon text, and every new
balloon keeps coming with the old font, small size, even if all made
balloons are formatted to another size. I click in auto update and template,
sometimes and so.

After using word almost daily since 1993, I still don't feel lucky when
using styles.

Greetings.
