WMP Object in Powerpoint 2007

Phil

To get around the inability of PPT to play a DVD track, I used to rip the DVD
track to MPEG2, then insert it into a slide using the Windows Media Player
Object. (It seems to spool a large video file better than the Insert Movie
facility.) However, the object does not appear in 2007 (TR). Just wondering
if it is available, yet to come, or a thing of the past.
thanks,
Phil

Hi Phil,

You may want to also post this in the Powerpoint newsgroup. There is a link to that group below.
