wmv files on macs

I created a windows media player movie and would like to publish on the web.
I used frontpage insert web compenent --> active x control --> windows media
player tool to insert this movie in html file. It works on pc, but does not
work on mac computers.

Is the Apple version of Windows Media Player installed on the machine??
