Is there a chat room/discussion group for Word 12 Beta? I am new to these
chat rooms and could not find where to go.

No, there are no groups specifically for Word 12 (now officially Word
2007). The groups are organized by topic, not by version.

You should read http://word.mvps.org/FindHelp/WhichNewgrp.htm to find
out which group to post your question in.
