word 200 not opening at all

Word 200 will not respond at all. I cannot open it from
the shortcut on desktop or from start,program files,word
or by opening explorer and finding it that way. I can
open it by starting microsoft works and going that way but
it is time consuming. What happened and how can I fix it?
When I open properties the second page does not show any
links or pathways.

Is that Word 200 BC or AD?

Just kidding of course. ;-) I suspect you mean Word 2000?
