Word 2000 CD Rom Key Number

Following our computer crash and attempting to reload MS
Word 2000, it requires we enter the 25-character CD-ROM
Key number. It is located on the yellow sticker on the
back of the CD-ROM jewel case at the time of purchase. We
no longer have the original packaging. Anyone know how to
acquire this information so we can utilize the software
once again?

If it is a retail version, contact Microsoft at (800) 360-7561, or, if

If the software came preinstalled on your PC (OEM version), then you'll need
to contact the manufacturer for a replacement key.
