Word 2000 Crashes

Word 2000 crashes whenever I try to open it. Most of the
time the comment that appears is: " Winword.exe caused
fault #c0000005 in MS09.DLL at address 018f.30905909." I
uninstalled the Word program many times and repaired and
reinstalled it many times. Another error remark has
been " This program has performed an illegal operation
and will be shut down." Thank you for offering me
solutions!
