I'm asking this question on behaf of someone else who is
not used to using word on a PC so some of the details
might be a bit shaky. They were in the process of copy
text from one document to another. While doing this they
lost all the text and it was replaced by another file
that was already saved in the same folder. Now they are
not able to get the old text back. I'm not sure if they
saved it but they did mention getting a message about the
clip board and they responded no to it. I'm wondering if
there is any way to recover the old text or if microsoft
word 2000 has any build in recovery points that they
could go back to or if there is any other way to recover
the text that they might have accidently deleated or
overwritting. ANy help would be greatly appreaciated.
thanks
