Word 2000 failure when opening

I get the the window that says that Microsoft has detected
an error. It then asks if I want to send this error to MS
and then Windows 2000 will shut down.
I've deleted windows and MS office... rebooted... and
still get the same result.
I hadn't had this in the past.

Any help would be appreciated.
