Word 2000 - How to delete without disk?

When I try to open Word 2000 it freezes up. My original disk was damaged and thrown out. I just bought Office 2000-Small Business and installed it. But the old Word still comes up and freezes. Is there any way for me to override it or
delete Word without the original disk
