Word 2000 Issues - Need Help

Hello Group,

I was wondering if someone could help me with the following: My word
2000 documents are automatically reverting back to an older version
when I'm out on-line. For example, if I mail an attachment and then
the user opens it, the version is not the most current one. However,
locally I can't reproduce the error. I have all macros shut down and
I'm not utilizing VBA for automation.

Does anyone know how I can shut off the automation so that it doesn't
revert? This is really annoying.

Which attachment are you sending? For example, if you receive an email with
a Word document attached and you double-click to open it, make changes, and
then save and close, that changed Word file is in your temporary file
folder. If you then forward the email on to someone, the changed Word file
is *still* in your temporary file folder -- it's not the Word document
that's attached to the email.
