Hello all,

A user select text with STYLE X in an other document. Is it possible, via a
macro, to paste the selected text in an other document with STYLE NORMAL?

Hi Peter,

not really.

Maybe the closest would be:

Selection.PasteAndFormat (wdFormatPlainText)

The pasted text then takes on the formatting
of the text, where it is pasted into.

Could be a character style or a paragraph style,
or a manually applied style.

In case the paragraph style is "normal",
and there is no character style
and there is no direct formatting (manually applied)
then the pasted text would be of the style defined in "normal".

To take over the formatting it is sufficient,
if the insertion point is at the
right border of range of text that was formatted
with a character style or directly formatted.

And there is still more to it.
