word 2000 please help

One of our users is having problems with word 2000. they frequently receive winword.exe errors saying "winword.exe has generated errors and will now close." We have installed office 2000 sp3 and all the up to date patches. have tried repairing office updating the printer drivers but still it happens. It doesnt happen after pressing print or save or anything else it just happens for no reason

could anyone help please. do i have to uninstall office and reinstall it??
