Word 2000 Pro Crashes

I have just installed office 200 Pro and any time I try to
open word, it crashes. I have tried to open in the
troublshooting mode using the winword.exe /a but the the
same problem occurs.

This is the same with the other office programs, excel,
powerpoint, access and the others.
Can anyone help me on what to do.
My thought is it might be a hardware problem but I have
not installed any device to it and before I installed
office, the PC was running smoothly.

and still have not solve the problem.
