Word 2000 slow

I have two clients running Windows XP-H and 2000 Pro both
using Word 2000. Since Jan 7th 2004 both PC's are slow
opening Word and any doc's. If you change the date to
2003 both work fine it can take 1.5 to 2 minutes to open
Word in 2004 under 10 seconds in 2003

Disable the Norton Office Plug-in. If you'll read the slew of messages
posted here on January 7-8, you'll see why.
