I seem to be having a problem with Microsoft Word 2000 SR-1 (9.0.4402) Our Principalship department has a document which is stored on a novell file server, the secretaries for the Prinship access this file through there shared drives. Although when they send this word document to the print unit. It is not printed off as it is displayed in word. The document is setup with bullets and numbering.
There is a first line indent a left indent and a hanging indent in this document which provides the formatting along with the bullets and numbering. I have tried deleting the normal.dot file on the machines which are acting up, however this did not resolve the problem. Basically on the first paragraph of the document the layout appears incorrectly on three or four machines, while it works fine on some others. I have tried deleting temp files and word rescued files in the application data folder of the users profile, this did nothing. Could this be a bug with the Office 2000 suite. I have tried installing SP3 for office2000 however it did not work as our version is deployed through active directory.
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?
