Word 2000 (stop responding when trying to print)

I am using MS Word 2000 on Win XP PRo and when I try to
print, I a (not responding)and have to Ctrl,Alt,Del and
end the process. I could print fine yesterday to the
network printer and got it to print 1 doc. today, but
nothing else. I have reinstalled MS Office, the net.
printer and still no luck. Any suggestions?

Can you send a test print successfully (from the printer applet)? Can other
apps print or is this just Word?

All MS Office apps. But another reply informed me at
Norton AV, that I am running as well. I will try
disabling its Office Plug-in and see if that works.

Thank you for your responce and I will let you know how I
do.

It is all Apps in MS Office and I cannot send a test
print. When I select "File" "Print" the app. gives me
a "Not Responding". I have tried disabling the MS Office
in Norton AV and that did not work either. I have tried
reinstalling Office and the printer. It worked fine
untill Friday, August 6, 2004 and nothing has change on
the computer.

If you cannot send a test print from the Printer Applet, then this has
nothing to do with Office. The Printer Applet sends the test page straight
from the printer driver and does not use any other application at all. So it
would seem most likely that your printer died.
