My Word 2000 program installation disk was included when
I purchased my previous computer. Recently, that hard
drive crashed/mother-board died, so I purchased new
computer (one I'm on now). I want to load that same
program onto my new computer, BUT I CAN'T FIND MY
ORIGINAL PRODUCT REGISTRATION NUMBER which was originally
on the back side of the jewel case, which I have lost!
Is it possible that Microsoft can locate my original
registration of the product? (It was installed and
registered in about Dec 2000.) I need to be able to
install the software on my new computer!

Unfortunately, finding the product key wouldn't help because OEM versions
are licensed only for the computer they come with; it would not be legal to
install the software from your old computer onto your new computer. Sorry.
