I have a 60-page plus Word document on which I have been asked to create a
template. Each page has a 1.25 ins x 5.32 ins rounded rectangle (filled with
a two colour fill effect, with a ‘diagonal up’ shading) header. Every new
section has a title inserted in the rectangle, followed by a filled in
rectangle without the wording, until the next section.

It has been decided to use this document to send to our clients but, they
would like the rectangles in the header to colour co-ordinated to match the
client's logo, etc.

I can’t quite grasp how I can quickly change, say, 60 plus headers to match
each client’s specific colour? The colours will always have a gradient and a
fill of a dark and light colour.

Can anyone give me any advice?

Thanks in anticipation.

You shouldn't have to change 60 headers if there are only 60 pages. At most
you would have to change the header for each section. But if you can get the
text in the header via a StyleRef, you'd only have to change one.

Thank you for your response.

If using StyleRef would change the colour for every rectangle, could you
please give me a little more information or point me to where I might find
the information.

I'm not clear whether each one of your 60 pages has to be customized for a
different company or whether all the pages in a 60-page document have to be
customized for a specific company. If the former, then there is probably no
shortcut.
