Word 2001 memory error (Macintosh)

I recieved a message saying that there was not memory in Word to do
an operation. When I went to FILE and GET INFO in MacOS 9.1, I could
only get the general memory box, NOT the memory allocation box.
How do I add more memory to my Word 2001 for Mac application?
