Word 2002 “Quotation and Apostasy marksâ€.

Just lately my Quotation mark’s with the curls “ †have changed to straights
" " and the Apostasy mark ’ with the curl has also changed to a straight '
(sorry that I could not type the curls).

On the Tools menu, click AutoCorrect Options. On the AutoFormat As You Type
tab, make sure the "Straight quotes with smart quotes" option is checked.
Click OK.
