word 2002 and 97

I have a file that was made in word 97 and I am having
trouble opening this in word 2002 running in xp. When I
try and open the file in word 2002 it says there is a
major error. Help..

If this is the only file that you are having problems with, it is probably
corrupt. Try using the Recover Text from Any File option.
