H Herb Tyson [MVP] May 27, 2007 #2 Usually, you can insert those characters by typing Ctrl+accent followed by the letter. For example, if I press Ctrl+',e, I get é. Ctrl+Shift+~,n produces ñ. It works for non-Spanish characters, too. For example, pressing Ctrl+`,e produces è, and Ctrl+Shift+6 (Ctrl+^),o yields ô.
