Word 2002 Disappears

We are using Word 2002. Periodically, we will be working
on a document in Word and switch over to Outlook to check
an e-mail. Then when we go back to work in Word it is
gone. No error. Just gone. Users say that they did not
close it.

Suggestions? Thanks!

Have you applied the latest Service Pack and Patches for Office XP? Do you
work on multiple Word documents?
