I have a problem with Word 2002 reformatting the entire
document when I intend only for the selected text to be
reformatted. Examples: When I select (highlight) a
phrase to be centered <CTRL-E>, the entire document is
centered, including other paragraphs, etc., even though
they were not selected for reformatting. The same occurs
when I try to change the font type, size, or color for a
selected word or group of words.
Is there a setting to correct this, or is it a software
glitch? I've been told by two other people that they
experience the same problem on their computers/Word 2002
software.
