Good morning!
I'm having a bit of a problem opening a document in Word
2002. Whenever I click on it, I get this error message:
The document name or path is not valid. Check the file
permission for the document or drive. Use the file open
dialog box to locate the document.
I have read the help at Microsoft and tried the
workarounds they suggested, but nothing has helped.
I'm not sure what version of Word the document was
originally written in. I know that to get the document I'm
working from, I had to copy/paste from an older version
that may have been Word 2000 or older. These particular
documents have been around pert near forever. As far as I
know, the documents were never password protected.
This error seems to be turning up spontaneously among
several of my documents, all of which were copy/pasted
from older versions.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
Tracy
