Word 2002 error

Hello,
I have a PC running Windows 2000 and office XP on
the C: It is connected to a server. When I create or open
a word doc and write some text, save it, and then add more
text and go to save it again... it freezes up with the
following messages. These docs are being saved onto a
Server - not a floppy. This PC has plenty of memory and
disk pace

1. - There are too many edits in this document. This
operation will be incomplete. Save your work.

2. - There is anot enough memory or disk spaceto complete
the operation

The only way to get out of these screens is to close word
by CNTRL/ALT /DEL end task. then the files come up in the
recovery section.

I have reinstalled the office pack and still have the same
problem. Other PC's are accessing these files without a
problem.

Can you suggest what I can do

Brad.
