Word 2002 Hangs

Every time I try to open a word documtent over the network
Word locks up. I have tried numerous documents; I have
succesfully opened files in this share from another
computer. With the computer that is having problems I
have deleted the normal.dot, uninstalled and reinstalled
Office, stopped the print spooler, ran norton 2002
utilities, rebuilt the profile and it is up to service
pack 2. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing the same problem - did you find a solution
Have looked through the postings and am noticing that lots of people are having this difficulty.
Nothing works that I have tried so far, although Suzanne has been very helpful.
