Word 2002 Line Numbers.

How do I change the format to line numbers after I have generated the
document?

Number them with Page Layout options but would like smaller fonts.

You're on the right track with the Page Layout option. The other part is to
go to Format > Style and modify the Line Number style to have the font size
you want.
