Word 2002 Page Setup Orientation Error

I'm using both Portrait and Landscape pages in a file which has mirrored margins. When I attempt to change a section from one to the other, I receive this error message: "Settings you chose for L&R margins, column spacing or paragraph indents are too large for the page width in some sections." THEY’RE NOT. They’re mirrored and haven't been changed. Nor have they been changed from previous Page Orientation changes made in the same document. WHERE’S THE GLITCH AND HOW DO I OVERCOME IT?????? THANKS .
