Word 2002 quote problem

Hi there,

We work with Word 2002. With a Word document we have the following problem:

In the Word document are sefferal quotes like this "<word>" but Word shows
this as "A<word>@"
This document is made by another person.

The language settings are ok. So i have no idea.

My guess is that the is some field coing in that document that you are
receiving. In order to see that coding before it is interpreted by Word do
the following:

In words menu, go to Tools, Options
On the View tab make sure 'Field Codes' is checked.

I think you will see something different once you apply that change. Then
you can either delete the codes or ask the sender to strip the codes for
you.
