Word 2002 Spell Check of a single letter...

Users are complaining that the "Spell Check" function is not picking up
single letters in sentences. For example the user wanted to say "He went to
the store." and accidentally type "He went t the store." The "t" does not
show up as a misspelled word.

We are running Word 2002 version 10.0.4219.

Does anyone know of a fix?

P.S. I ran the spell check in this post using Outlook Express's Spell Check
and it picked it up.

The same thing happens in Word 2003. It doesn't show up as grammar error
either. I suspect this is by design because of the common use of letters for
itemizing or numbering.
