Word 2002 starts only in safe mode, please help.

Word 2002 starts only in safe mode. I tried to uninstall and re-install the
application with no success solving the problem.

Any tips will be appreciated.

Thank you, Beth. That info is very helpful. I had the same problem of
starting Word 2002 with error signature (10.0.2627.0 and offset 008248f2).
It is now fixed by changing the file name of Normal.dot
