Can anyone tell me what this is and how to make it stop???

Stop doing whatever it is that you are doing to crash Word 2002? Or
provide more background info.

It means Word has encounered a problem, and the MS suggestion is to upgrade
to a version that is still supported
NB Whatever the problem is it doesnt neccessarily mean that upgrading will
overcome it
