Word 2003 as email editor for Outlook 2003

I get the follow error message:

"Microsoft Word is set to be your e-mail editor. However,
Word is unavailable, not installed, or is not the same
version as Outlook. The Outlook e-mail editor will be
used instead. The program fro the attachment may not have
been installed properly or may have been moved or
deleted. Reinstall the program in which the attachment
was created."

I have both Word 2003 and Outlook 2003 installed. I have
tried a reinstall but this did not solve the problem. If
you have any ideas on how to fix this... I would be
forever grateful!

What I would do is get the Windows Installer Cleanup utility from Microsoft. Then I would uninstall Word 2003. Then I would run the installer cleanup utility and remove anything that has Word in it and\or remove information from a previous version of Microsoft Office. Reboot. Then I would re-install Word 2003. Reboot. Then go to Add\Remove and start to Remove Office 2003 but instead Repair it. Reboot. See if that helps.
