Word 2003 automatically closes

My Word in Office 2003 has been automatically closing.
Usually this happens when I have two or more Word docs
open and I try to switch in between them. I get no
errors and I can restart Word, but I lose unsaved data.

Anybody know what the problem is? I can't find anything
on MS KB.

Hi Troy,

Believe it or it's possible you have encountered a bug in the
Handwriting Recognition services. Try the following:

- Open your Control Panel
- Open Regional and Language Settings
- Select the Language tab
- Click Details
- Remove Handwriting Recognition

If you use Handwriting Recognition you can add it back once it has
been removed.

Additionally, if this resolves your problem do you have more than one
language installed? If so what are they?
