Word 2003 Basic Question

New user to Word 2003, mostly an Auto Cad guy. I create text boxes for my
text and can't get rid of the boxes so I can print document without the text
box. Checked help in Word and didn't get much help from that avenue. So how
do I delete or hide the text box so it won't print to document? Thanks for
the help in advance.

You mean you want to "hide" the border on the text box? Or you don't
want the text box to print at all?

Just need to hide the border and print the text Bob tha is contained in the
border. Thanks for the help again,

Right-click on an edge of the text box, left-click on Format Text Box |
Colors and Lines tab, and choose no fill color and no line color.

Thaen you need to format the text box border to have "no line". R-click
the box and pick the format option, and change the "line" color to no line.
