Word 2003 - booklet printing

I have been sent a 40 page document with the pages numbered sequentially. I
want to print it as an A5 booklet on A4 paper using a duplex printer. This
will require the first sheet to have pages 1 and 40, the next 2 and 39 etc.

What is the easiest way to achieve this, please?

I think Word 2003 will do this for you automatically if you click on
File | Page Setup | Margins tab | Multiple pages: Book fold | OK. Just
remember that the total number of pages in your document must be a
multiple of 4 (so 40 pages would be okay, but 39 or 42 would not), or
else Word will probably get confused.
