word 2003, cannot delete final blank page

Already tried clicking "show paragraph markers", then I highlight the
paragraph marker and try to delete it but it won't go away. There's also a
paragraph marker in the header section but it's grayed out.

Is this stuborn pm following a table? If so, you can't
delete it. Try formatting it at 1pt size.
