Word 2003 - cannot edit charts within documents

I cannot edit a chart I have created in Word, I get an
error message saying cannot open document, user does not
have access privileges ......... any ideas?

Its possible this file was created by someone on your computer with
Administrative priviledges, you need to contact them to let them share the
file with your or give you Admin priviledges are put the file in a shared
folder so you access and edit it.
