Word 2003 can't open Word 2000????

Scott

I have a problem with a word document with tables and the like in it that was created in 2000 being opened in 2003.

If I open this document original (it's an HR document posted on our intranet) from my system and another users system both using Word 2003 it opens fine. Another user on Word 2000 opens it from the same place, works fine. But if the Word 2000 users edits it in any way, even just adding a single character, and then sends to us on Word 2003 our systems show it as corrupt.

Whats up with that?

Thanks!

Have you updated your Office 20003 from the Office Update site?

Hey,

I updated my Office XP to Office 2003. After installing,
I was unable to open any of my existing Word documents on
the computer. It says, "The file ______ is not
available." Any ideas? if so, please email me at
[email protected]. Thanks

Rob

This is sometimes the result of a conflict with the Norton Office Plug-in,
which can be disabled without compromising your virus protection provided
you leave Auto-Protect enabled.
