Word 2003 causes XP to hang

Whenever using Word 2003 my computer will hang and it
requires a hard reset to get it going again. It is
consistent and will happen every time I try to use word.
All keyboard and mouse activity stops and ctl-alt-delete
will not even work. Word will load and I can work in it
for about two minutes before this happens. When
resetting the computer, I get no indication that any
problem has occurred. This only happens in Word. I did
have an indication that there was a problem in Outlook
2003 but it went away after I chose to not use Word as my
e-mail editor. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Word.

Nothing in that article helps. Did all that applies and
it still hangs. Thanks for your response.
