Word 2003 crashes when opening Wordperfect Docs

We merged away from Wordperfect to Word (2003) and were promised that Word
would open any WP document. However, certain (random) WP documents cause
Word to Crash every single time. I have all of the updates but need to get
into some of these documents

WordPerfect to Word conversion is complex and not very satisfactory. I would
recommend that you reinstall WordPerfect on a spare machine and use it to
open the problematical documents and use SaveAs to choose RTF or a Word
format that Word should find easier to convert.
